Sigh...

Oh my goodness!! So I was supposed to get my backdrop thingy delivered on Friday but they called and said OOPS, it is not on the truck. Okay, no problem. They were to deliver it Monday, they promised and promised...oops, forgot!! They were to deliver it Tuesday, I call to check and oops, not on the truck again!! So they are looking for it and can not find it anywhere. Finally it is located and guess what? It was on the truck all along! So they bring it. When it gets here it is in pieces (and it is not supposed to be) and now I have no backdrop system and won't have for another week. Grrrrrr....

Other than that the studio is coming along nicely. I am slowly starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am going to a scrapbooking retreat this weekend. I have not scrapbooked in over two years!! I think I will work on my Costa Rica book but I may just skip scrapping all together and just socialize. Now that I can do!!

Updates!

Hey all!

Just wanted to update you on whats going on around this place. Studio has a new coat of paint and is changed around. They were supposed to deliver my new backdrop system Friday but something went awry and it should be here today....at least it had better be!

Sophia Pearl has come home and is doing great. She is very wild and will not let me get anything done.

I need one of those people to come organize me. I have NO idea what to do with all of this mess! Here is a shot I took of some machinery of some sort and another of an angel. Normally I prefer photographing people but these two things caught my eye a bit ago and I finally got around to working with them.

My new backdrop controller is scheduled to be delivered today and I am frantically trying to pull the studio back together for pictures tomorrow! What a mess I have here! On top of that my little puppy is sick and has been at the vets overnight. She has something wrong with her little tummy. She should be okay but I am hoping that she will get to come home late this afternoon.

Here is an example of a story board that I have done. This family tried for a very long time to have a baby and finally conceived this little lamb. She is truly their little miracle!

Fun Times!

Today I got the honor of shooting a 3 month old little girl. I so love photographing the new ones. They are so sweet and this little one was just "dainty". Her feet were so tiny! I love knowing that these pictures will be looked at during the whole lifetime of this child and then cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren after them. These are a couple of my favorites from the shoot.

The studio is closed the rest of the week so that I can get it all topsy turvey'd around and get my new set up going. Things will be so much smoother and more organized when I am finished. And those of you who know me personally know that I need some organization...LOL...

Great news for a friend of mine, Collette! Her 4 year old just won a beauty contest. She got a crown!! I have always wanted a crown. She also got most photogenic with a shot I took of her. I have included it here as well!

Finally Getting Some Things Done!

I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Here are a couple of shots from my last photo session...tell me this little one is not a living doll! She was so good too! Most infants can't hang long but this little one was good for hours! I had a blast taking her 3 month old photos. I hope she is this good at 6 months!

Hoping we get some snow tonight. Believe it or not I would love it if the boys stay home from school tomorrow! I have missed them since they went back after break and now that I am somewhat caught up I could actually spend some time with them!

EXCITING NEWS!! I just placed the order for my brand spanking new automatic backdrop roller system! Those of you who have been here know what trouble I have been having trying to change backdrops...NO LONGER!! As soon as this bad boy gets here I will be the backdrop queen!
